As a Sophomore: Made 18 appearances and two starts on the mound...went 5-1 with a 7.71 earned-run average with 33 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched...earned his first career victory with a scoreless inning of work against nationally ranked Columbus State (2/7)...in his first career start, went five innings, allowing four runs and striking out three for the win against Concordia (3/3)...struck out a career-high five batters over two scoreless innings while picking up the win against Bloomfield (3/11)...came on in relief against No. 2 Florida Southern (4/18) to pitch five innings with five strikeouts for the victory...came up huge in the NCAA National Tournament, tossing 2.1 innings of scoreless ball to claim the win against No. 10 Belmont Abbey (5/28) and send the Fighting Knights to the national championship game.

As a Freshman: Appeared in seven games, all in relief…returned from shoulder surgery to post a 0-0 record with five strikeouts in 7.2 innings pitched and a 4.70 earned-run average…in his first career appearance, struck out two batters in an inning of work against Palm Beach Atlantic (4/8).

At Prior High School: Played for Frank Salvano at St. Joseph's Regional High School...three-year letterwinner...posted an 8-2 record with a 1.86 earned-run average as a senior in helping the Green Knights to a 29-6 record...never posted an ERA over three...has a 19-6 career varsity record...named first team all-league and all-suburban and second team all-county.

Personal Information: Born Justin Paul Figart on November 10, 1987 in Ridgewood, N.J…son of William and Christine Figart…business administration major…enjoys snowboarding in his spare time…says following his dream of becoming a college athlete is the most satisfying part of collegiate athletics…describes himself as outgoing, understanding, courageous and a good listener.
