As a Junior: Sophie was named CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-District... played in and started all 32 matches for the Fighting Knights... averaged 1.92 kills, 0.94 blocks and 0.79 digs per set at a .228 clip... recorded five matches with at least 10 kills including 13 at Eckerd (10/24)... recorded four service aces against No. 21 Eckerd (09/18)... notched seven blocks against Henderson State (09/05) and Palm Beach Atlantic (09/22)... ranked seventh in the Sunshine State Conference in bps.

As a Sophomore: Averaged 1.90 digs and 1.37 kills per set... logged three matches with 10+ kills including 14 at Saint Leo (11/7), 12 against Flagler (10/18) and 10 at Rollins (10/25)... recorded seven double-figure digs matched including 16 at Palm Beach Atlantic (10/31) and 15 against Montevallo (9/27)... earned one double-double... picked up six blocks at Florida Tech (10/24).

As a Freshman: Played 33 games in 12 matches, starting five... recorded double-digit kills twice, tallying 10 against Clark Atlanta (10/13) and Barry (10/27)... notched double-digit digs five times, including 19 against Nova Southeastern (10/26)... put together a pair of double-doubles on the year.

At Prior University/College: Played two seasons for Cegep Beauce-Appalaches, leading the Condors to a bronze medal in the Quebec Provincial Tournament in 2005-06 and an AAA Collegial League championship in 2004-05... named an All-Star team member at the Provincial Tournament twice in her career.

At Prior High School: Attended Polyvalente St-Georges, helping the Dragons take 5^th at Nationals in 2002-03 and gold medals in the Quebec Games in back-to-back years from 2000-02.

Personal Information: Born April 1, 1987 in St-Georges, Quebec, Canada... daughter of Richard Gagnon and Line Lizotte... has one older sister... describes herself as spontaneous with a good sense of humor.
