As a Sophomore: Katrina played in and started 26 games before an injury ended her season... hit .321 with a pair of doubles and four triples with 12 runs scored... stole six bases... second on the squad with nine sacrifice bunts... notched 10 games with multiple hits... went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a triple in the Fighting Knights' win over No. 20 Georgia College & State (2/22).

As a Freshman: Had a solid debut season for the Fighting Knights, hitting a team second-best .335 in the leadoff spot... started and played in all 54 games... collected a team-high 61 hits and scored an LU-best 28 runs... added four doubles, two triples and a home run on the year... stole nine bases, second-most for the Knights... tallied 16 multi-hit games including a 3-for-4 performance against Nova Southeastern (4/18), 3-for-4 outing with three runs scored and a pair of RBIs and a home run against Molloy (3/1&) and a 4-for-4 showing against Northwood (Fla.) (3/18)... drove in three runs at Tampa (3/28).

At Prior High School: Member of the Junior Canadian National Team that placed fifth at the Softball World Series in 2007 and fourth at the Pan-American Games in 2006... played club ball with the Markham Jaguars, winning a record four consecutive Canadian National Championships... named MVP in the opening game at Nationals in 2004... won Rising Stars Tournament in 2005... on the Honor Roll and graduated in the top 13% of all 2007 graduates... volunteered at the "Don't Ever Give Up" Camp for two years.

Personal Information: Born July 24, 1989 in North York, Ontario, Canada... parents are Wilson and Susan Lavadan... has an older brother... is an elementary education major and plans to become a teacher after graduation.
