As a Junior: Appeared in 14 games, all in relief...posted a 1-1 record with one save, an 8.10 earned-run average and 11 strikeouts in 13.1 innings pitched...made first career appearance for the Fighting Knights against St. Thomas (2/1)...earned his first save in a 6-4 victory over nationally ranked Columbus State (2/8)...picked up with win after tossing 2.1 innings with two strikeouts against Adelphi (3/9).

As a Sophomore: Played for Marco Alvillar at Los Angeles Harbor College…helped the Seahawks to a 32-20 record and 18-6 mark in the South Coast Conference…SCC champions…posted 10 saves with a 1.35 earned-run average.

As a Freshman: Played at LA Harbor College…teammates with Justin Garcia.

At Prior High School: Played for Joel Romero at Leuzinger High School…played third base and catcher in addition to pitching…two-time all-league selection…named the Olympian’s Most Outstanding Pitcher in 2004 while batting .375.

Personal Information: Born Johnny Omar Membreno on March, 22, 1987 in Gardena, Calif…son of Rosie Calderon…youngest of four siblings, Albert Calderon (30), Walter Parada (27) and Rudy Membreno (25)…sports and recreation management major…enjoys fishing, drawing, snowboarding and skateboarding…favorite bands are Linkin Park and Kanye West…favorite movie is Tupac Reserection and Boys in the Hood.
