As a Freshman: Made 20 appearances on the mound with 13 starts...opened the year as the No. 3 starter but moved into the closers role during the NCAA Tournament...named the Most Outstanding Player for both the NCAA National and South Region Tournament after posting a 1-0 record, five saves, 0.00 earned-run average and 12 strikeouts in 12.2 innings of work...overall, went 7-4 with five saves, three complete games, one shutout, a 4.54 ERA and 87 K's in 79.1 innings pitched...posted two double-figure strikeout games...went 5-1 with five saves against teams ranked nationally...made his first appearance against St. Thomas (2/1), striking out four while allowing two runs on two hits over 3.1 innings...in his first career start, struck out seven in 4.2 innings while allowing three runs, one earned run, on five hits against nationally ranked Columbus State (2/7)...claimed his first win when he lasted five innings with six K's against nationally ranked South Carolina-Aiken (2/14)...struck out 10 over six innings while allowing just one run to Winona State (2/28)...earned his first career complete game victory with a five-hitter against nationally ranked Nova Southeastern (3/14)...tossed a six-hit extra-inning complete game against then No. 19 Tampa (3/28)...was downright dominant against Flagler with a two-hit complete game shutout and career-high 11 strikeouts at Flagler (4/4)...made the transition from starter to reliever against Tampa (5/14) in the NCAA South Regional Tournament, striking out one in an innings of work for his first career save...logged second save against top-ranked Southern Arkansas (5/15) with a scoreless inning of work...earned his third save in three days against Florida Southern (5/16) with four K's in three innings pitched...had three straight appearances of two plus innings at the NCAA National Tournament where he earned a victory and two saves while striking out seven batters in 7.1 innings pitched...closed out the national championship game against Emporia State (5/30) to win the program's first ever baseball national title.

At Prior High School: Played for Ed Dopp at Shaker High School…two-year letterwinner…posted a 1-1 record with two saves, a 3.50 earned-run average and 21 strikeouts in 14 innings while batting .302 his senior year…selected as a Section II Second Team All-Star Outfielder and to the Section II Suburban Council All-Star team…also lettered in basketball and football…helped the Bison to a Suburban Council basketball championship as a junior.
