As a Junior: Appeared in 59 games, making 58 starts...one of three returning players to have started at least 45 games...batted .312 with nine home runs, seven doubles, 39 runs batted in, 56 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in 22 attempts...was tied for third on the squad in home runs and fourth in runs and SBs...led the Sunshine State Conference with 12 sacrifice bunts and was 12th in runs, notched 22 multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games...opened his career with the Fighting Knights with a 2-for-6 performance against St. Thomas (2/1)...drove in four runs while going 3-for-6 against nationally ranked Columbus State (2/7)...was a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate with two home runs, four runs scored and four RBIs against Winona State (3/1)...played a key role in the team's postseason success as he broke a tie in the sixth inning against Tampa (5/14) with a three-run home run in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament.

As a Sophomore: Played for Jeff Johnson at Chipola College…played and started in 56 games, batting .286 with one home run, 14 doubles, 30 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts…tied for the team lead in doubles and third in stolen bases.

As a Freshman: Helped the Indians capture the NJCAA National Championships…played in 48 games, batting .289 with four doubles and 16 runs batted in.

At Prior High School: Attended Instituto David in David, Panama…played for Raul Atencio.

Personal Information: Born Einar Efrain Atencio in Panama City, Panama…son of Joshua Aparicio and Mitzila de Atencio…has two siblings, Erick (22) and Efrain (24)…international business major.
