As a Junior: Appeared in 24 games, all in relief...posted a 4-0 record with three saves, a 1.78 earned-run average and 22 strikeouts in 30.1 innings of work...led all relievers in ERA and was second in saves and strikeouts...posted saves in each of his first three appearances...faced just one batter but closed out a 16-15 game to nationally ranked Columbus State (2/7) in the first game of the double-header then came back to pitch 1.1 innings in the second game for his second save...picked up his first victory against Nova Southeastern (3/14) after tossing two innings...matched a season-high four innings of work in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, holding Tampa (5/14) scoreless and hitless while striking out two for his fourth victory.

At Prior University/College: Played two seasons for Turtle Thomas at Florida International University…saw action in 20 games as a sophomore, recording a 2-5 record with three saves, a 4.11 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched…appeared in three games as a freshman for the Golden Panthers.

At Prior High School: Attended Dublin High School, playing for Shawn McHugh…four-year letterwinner…three-time all-league selection and a first team all-east bay honoree as a senior.

Personal Information: Born Evan Francis Ellison on August 10, 1988 in San Mateo, Calif…son of Robert and Allison Ellison…has two siblings, Dylan (18) and Savannah (15)…hospitality major…enjoys listening to music in his spare time…describes himself as determined, driven and confident…lists Dumb and Dumber as his favorite movie and chicken as his favorite food.
