As a Junior: Recorded the greatest pitching season in school history while garnering more accolades than any baseball player for a single season at Lynn...named First Team All-America by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings, Daktronics and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, becoming the first pitcher in program history to accomplish that feat and second player overall...earned ABCA/Rawlings, Daktronics and NCBWA First Team All-South Region honors...named the Sunshine State Conference Male Athlete of the Year and Pitcher of the Year...earned First Team All-SSC accolades and was a two-time SSC Pitcher of the Week selection...selected to the NCAA National Tournament All-Tournament team...made 17 starts on the mound...posted a 15-2 record with a 2.29 earned-run average, 119 strikeouts, four complete games and three shutouts in 121.2 innings of work...set school records for wins and strikeouts while tying marks for game started and shutouts...finished fourth for IP and fifth for ERA in a single season...led the nation in wins, was third in K's and 29th in ERA...became the second pitcher at LU to lead the country in victories...posted 13 quality starts (three or fewer runs allowed in at least six innings pitched) while notching four games of at least 10 strikeouts...of his 15 wins, seven came against nationally ranked opponents and five versus teams ranked in the top-five...defeated No. 5 Columbus State with five strikeouts and five innings of work...beat eighth-ranked South Carolina-Aiken (2/13) with a four-K, three run in seven inning performance...outdueled the nation's strikeout leader while topping No. 8 Nova Southeastern (3/12) with a complete game five strikeout contest...notched his first double-digit strikeout game at Palm Beach Atlantic (2/20) when he tossed eight scoreless two-hit innings with 11 Ks...overpowered second-ranked Florida Southern (4/17) with a complete game, 11 K, two earned run performance...had a record-breaking day at Florida Tech (4/25), striking out a school record 17 batters whiling tossing a one-hit complete game shutout...defeated the top-three ranked teams in the country in the NCAA Tournament, beating top-ranked Southern Arkansas (5/15) with eight K's in eight innings, No. 2 West Chester (5/24) with six strikeouts through eight innings and third-ranked Emporia State (5/30) in the national championship game.

At Prior University/College: Played for Alex Morales at Palm Beach Community College…posted a 7-2 record with a 3.29 earned-run average and 53 strikeouts in 68.2 innings pitched over two years with the Panthers.

At Prior High School: Pitched for Carlos Gonzales at Royal Palm Beach High School…four-year letterwinner with the Wildcats…named a Dick Howser All-Star his senior year.
