As a Freshman: Darian played in 30 matches, starting five... averaged 1.74 digs per set... tallied double-figure digs in four matches including 12 at Rollins (10/10)... notched 22 service aces on the year with three against Montevallo (08/29).

At Prior High School: A multi-sport athlete at Calvary Christian Academy, lettering in volleyball, cheerleading, soccer and track & field... led the Eagles to the State Final Four as a freshman and regional runner-up finishes as a sophomore and senior... named First Team All-County by the Miami Herald as a freshman and sophomore and First Team All-County by the Sun-Sentinel as a freshman, sophomore and senior... led all players in Broward County as a freshman with 170 aces... tabbed Honorable Mention All-State in track as a senior... holds school records for the long jump, triple jump, shot put and 4x400 relay... member of the National Honors Society, A Honor Roll and Astronomy Club.

Personal Information: Born May 10, 1991 in Boca Raton, Fla... parents are Daniel and Daphne Weppner... is the second of four siblings... a biology major, Darian plans to pursue a career in the medical field after graduation.
