As a Freshman: Abbey played in 23 matches as a rookie for the Fighting Knights as a reserve setter and serving specialist... averaged 0.91 digs and 0.33 aces per set... set a program record for service aces in a match with seven against Queens (N.Y.) (09/11)... collected nine digs in a 3-2 win over No. 15 West Florida (08/28)... recorded nine assists against Oakland City (09/04).

At Prior High School: Three-year letterwinner at Munster High School... three-time All-Northwest Crossroads Conference selection by both the Post-Tribune and The Times... tallied 2,450 assists, 682 digs and 313 service aces in her three years with the Mustangs... Munster HS won sectionals in both 2006 and 2008... posted a 33-4 record her senior season... named Academic All-Conference in 2008... member of the "B" Honor Roll and French Club... volunteered for Cancer Resource Walk Fundraisers.

Personal Information: Born September 4, 1990 in Munster, Ind... parents are Tom and Rose Brokop... has an older brother... aspires to have a career in business and the culinary arts.
