As a Freshman: Played for Dan Schmidlin at Central Methodist University...appeared in 15 games...Second Team All-Heart of America Athletic Conference...recorded 12 goals, one assist and 25 points...led Eagles in goals and shots (49)...ranked 34th in the nation for NAIA in goals per game (0.80) and tied for 54th in points per game (1.67)...had two multi-goal games, including one hat trick...opened his season by scoring at least one goal in his first five games...in his first career match, scored three times in a 4-0 victory over Iowa Wesleyan (9/6)...scored both goals of a 2-1 win against Harris-Stowe State (9/9)...notched a goal and added his first career assist in the team's 3-0 win versus William Woods (9/13)...scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win against Avila (10/11)...added the equalizing goal as the Eagles tied Missouri Valley 1-1 (11/1).

At Prior High School: Played for Jose Luiz at Escola Tecnica Tupy...also a member of the Sercos club soccer team.

Personal Information: Born Paulo Roberto Vaz on December 10, 1982 in Joinville, Brazil...son of Jose and Ana Vaz...has two siblings, Tathiane and Renan...undecided on major...enjoys going to the beach, working out and playing video games in his free time...lists churrasco and lasagna as his favorite meals and "the Hangover" as his favorite movie...describes himself as competitive.
