BOCA RATON, Fla. - Three Lynn University volleyball players were named CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District, as announced on Thursday.  Setter Devon Woolard earned her second-straight first team nod and is now eligible for Academic All-America honors while middle blocker Sophie Gagnon and libero Lacy Redwine both garnered second team accolades.

Woolard has posted a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in business administration to go with her standout career on the court.  The local Delray Beach, Fla., product averages 10.00 assists, 3.00 digs and 1.11 kills per set and is the Fighting Knights' all-time leader in assists with 3,314.

Gagnon has posted a 3.77 GPA as a biology major in her three years at Lynn.  A solid all-around player, she averages 1.84 kills, 0.92 blocks and 0.79 digs per set while hitting at a .227 attack percentage.

Redwine garnered her recognition with a 3.87 GPA in business administration.  She averages 4.75 digs per frame and recently became just the fourth Knight to amass 1,000 career digs.  Redwine set the program record with 33 digs in a five set win over Michigan Tech and has topped 20 digs in seven matches this season.
