Banner and Other Sponsorship Opportunities

de Hoernle Center

Each year the de Hoernle Arts and Cultural Center, affectionately known as the de Hoernle Center, hosts over 30,000 spectators and guests for Men's and Women's Basketball, Volleyball, concerts, lectures, intramural leagues, and summer camps (nationally recognized Pine Tree Camps, LU volleyball and LU basketball) throughout the year. A variety of banner options in the de Hoernle Center can help you best reach your target audience.

• Men's/Women's Game Sponsorship - LU has one of the best home-court advantages in the country in NCAA division II because of the noise level and crowd participation. Get maximum exposure and be sure to reach every Knight fan with the whole works. Lobby and gym logo placement, Logo recognition on the front cover of a game day program, as well as press releases and advertisements for the sponsored game, public address announcements at all Men's and Women's basketball/ Volleyball home games and a presentation of a Lynn signed ball prior or halftime to a sponsored game. Also available is halftime/timeout promotions or contests for your company. This is a sure fire way to have every fan leaving with your company's name on the tip of their tongue. But best of all, you get to watch the action with 20 tickets for the sponsored game.
• Banner Sponsorship - Get your banner hung along the upper bleachers of our gym! Banner size is 3' by 8'.
• BLU Tent Signage/Exposure - Advertise your company underneath our 12' by 12' tent. We provide tables, chairs, electricity. Our students love the BLU Tent because they know they are getting something free!
• Promo Give-Away/Contest - Take center stage during one of the Lynn home games by being a promotional sponsor. Give-Away/Contest are a sure fire way to get the fans wired up and involved. Help keep the Knights alive and the cheers coming.
• PA Announcements - Why just be seen when you can be heard too? Announcements are a great way to let the fans know about your company!

Baseball Stadium (McCusker Baseball Field)

The Sunshine State Conference is one of the biggest conferences that features Division II baseball and LU hosts great rivalries including Barry University, Nova Southeastern and Univ. of Tampa, which are sure to draw a large crowd. Each year McCusker baseball complex hosts over 40 games!

• Banner Sponsorship - Be sure to reach these fans with 6' x 10' banner on the outfield fence at beautiful McCusker Baseball Complex. The stadium comfortably seats 1,000 fans for Fighting Knight baseball, semi-pro baseball, other college baseball and select high school games/tournaments throughout the year.
• Game Sponsorship - BLU tent set-up with promotions and contests with your company! Have your mascot or CEO throw out the first pitch! Have a dizzy bat contest with your award to give away.

Soccer Stadium (McCusker Soccer Field)

Soccer fever is sweeping LU and south Florida. The men's team claimed another National Division II championship trophy in 2003 and continues to dominate the Sunshine State Conference each year. LU soccer has since then continued to make postseason appearances as well and is always contends for another national championship. The LU men's team has hundreds of loyal followers and local families in the south Florida community.

• Banner Sponsorship - Be Sponsorship banners measure to 6' by 10' on the west end-line wall. The popularity of Lynn soccer is growing fast so get in on the action early!
• Game Sponsorship - BLU tent set-up with promotions and contests with your company! Have a penalty kick contest at halftime with your name on it!

Softball Stadium (McCusker Softball Complex)

• Sponsorship banners - are available for placement along the outfield wall. They measure 3' by 8' with a full color print. McCusker softball field is home to LU Softball and various softball tournaments throughout the year.
• Game Sponsorship - BLU tent set-up with promotions and contests with your company!

Print Advertising Opportunities

• Game Programs - Game programs and posters are a popular item at every LU Athletic event, especially with alumni and community fans. Advertising is available for basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer. All of our game programs are printed in color on the front and inside, so you can put your company logo or advertisement right where fans are looking.
• Schedule Posters - Put your logo and ad on our Lynn Athletics posters. We can print over 1,500 posters in the year and have them put in our students' dorm rooms and spread across our campus and community!
• Schedule Cards/Magnets - We print hundreds of pocket-sized, magnetic schedules that are produced for all of our sports, including Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Men's and Women's Tennis and Golf. Schedules are distributed throughout the Lynn Community; on campus to student, staff and faculty, and to local businesses and into the hands of fans. Fans keep these schedules handy for easy reference, and give your company logo residual exposure.

One of the best ways to build knowledge of and excitement for your brand and product is to sponsor a promotion with LU Athletics. Promotions can be season-long or for a single game. We can develop a promotion that is exciting for the fans, adds energy to the event, and maximizes your exposure. Strong promotions are advertised on the schedule cards, posters, game-day advertising as well as print/radio ads. In order to sponsor a promotion, a business must also participate in LU's banner program. Promotional concepts include...

• Interactive games - Sponsor activities for fans before or during games, Coal Mine's Pizza Delivery to the loudest fan, Wendy's Best seat in the house, Big Lu's Sling a Tee
• Contestant Promotions - Contestants compete at time-outs or half-time to win prizes from your business, such as the Domino's Dash for Pizza, Jimmy John's Hunt 4 Subs, Smoothie King of the Court, Winner's Award Group 10K Challenge, Tic-Tac-Moes basketball shootout, "Your Company" Knockout, or other give-aways and events.

Game sponsorships are a dynamic and flexible means to promote your business in conjunction with LU Athletics. Sponsorships are a great way to build name and product recognition, cultivate new prospects, impress clients, or reward employees. We can tailor sponsorships to meet your company's needs and desires. Game sponsorships are available in Basketball, Volleyball, and Baseball. Game sponsorship possibilities include...

All game-day sponsorships include advertising on all game programs and website information. Each game-day sponsor will also provide sponsorship of a giveaway item during the same sport season. Past giveaways have included; Winner's Award Group 3 pt signs, Wendy's Free Frosties, Domino's Pizza Cups w/ pizza coupons inside, etc.

Internet Sponsorship

Take advantage of the Knights popular Internet website. The website gets approximately 20,000 hits per year and growing. The site has expanded to include online merchandise sales, online ticketing, visitor's information, radio broadcasts and many other exciting interactive features that keep Knight fans coming back often. The website is now the official source of news and notes about LU Athletics, and fans from all over the world visit on a daily basis to keep up with the latest Fighting Knight information. Help your business target this wide demographic and watch your company or service flourish.

Radio Sponsorship

Lynn University broadcasts over 83 games a year over the radio. Fans here on campus, in the Boca Raton community and all over the world can receive this broadcast via the internet by visiting our athletics website. We have over 5,000 listeners each year following our sports. With a radio sponsorship you will receive 2 radio spots (30 seconds each) that equals to around 166 total spots. If you provide the script, we can offer all of this for only $100. That's less than 75 cents per radio spot!

Seat Sponsorship (Name-a-Seat)

Lynn University athletics offers an opportunity to Name-A-Seat. With a tax-deductible gift of $300, you can name a seat in honor of a family member, friend, company or even a Lynn University student or alumnus/a. The name(s) of your choice will be inscribed on a brass plaque and permanently affixed to one of the selected center section retractable chair back seats. When you name a seat, you will receive:

• a season pass for the 2008-2009 basketball and volleyball seasons
• recognition at opening nights
